EDM is used to measure and publish results for field events quickly. During the competition, the field referee places the target prism at the point to be measured. The operator will align the theodolite with the target prism, and the theodolite will accurately measure the distance between itself and the target prism. Then, the software will calculate the horizontal distance. For different events, we have different formulas programmed into the system. Our software can automatically calculate the results and publish them through the network.
